How to be less y and but cute around guys?

To be perfectly honest, it sounds to me like your looking in the wrong places for this guy. The guys you're falling for are at these house parties where guys are probably on the prowl for one thing..one nighter. Are you attracted to that guy who has everyone's attention at the party, the one with the jokes making everyone laugh, or the one scoping out all the girls? I think maybe you should look for the guys who are a little quieter, shy, or just not obnoxious. Look for the guys standing on the outskirts of the party, just hanging out with his close friends and having a good time. You sound like a cool person. Someone who is confident in themselves and their morals and you shouldn't be pressured to do things that you don't really feel the need to. If you don't want to hook up with someone the first day you meet him, he should be cool with that and if he's not he's a douche. Most respectful guys can see that you want to move slow and just get to know each other, and that is the kind of person you should want to be with. Just be yourself, dress how you do, and maybe change who you look for. Good luck..sry this turned into a novel.
