How long can you leave a gas hob on un-ignited before it explodes when you finally light it?

natural gas rises/propane falls to ground/open windows as you may flick a light switch upstairs and the spark blows up the joint/fires are started for profit like that/candle on the floor and gas leak and walk out and close the door/gas gets down to the candle and-----
