Convert old audio cettes to CD?

Audacity will be the best free app for capturing the audio. It's available from sourceforge.net. You'll need the additional LAME MP3 encoder as well, available from the same site. From there you can use tools like WMP (uming you have Windows) or iTunes to create CDs that will play in your car.
