Was this dangerous? allowing your dog to hug your baby?

While that is certainly a great photo, I agree with the negative comments. It is a show of dominance. Dogs are pack animals, and no matter what anyone tells you, they are constantly trying to ert themselves up the pack. As long as the baby stays docile, and the dog feels "Alpha", all will be fine, but one swat to the dog's nose could change things for that baby's life forever. Not worth the chance, in my book.
