Can guinea pigs live outside?

Can 2 piggies live outside in a wooden hutch, roof and everything? The hutch would have a solid floor, it is a plastic 'tub' that slides out, not a wire floor...there would also be enough hay to burrow in and possibly blankets. Please answer!
