Is it okay for a Christian to join a Greek fraternity/sorority?

I'm thinking of joining a Greek fraternity a my college that I attend. But I'm just not sure if i should. At first I was sure until i heard about false Gods. I'm not sure if that is true or not but can any body help me?!!
